Baptism.Birthday.Breakfast.Bash

Since everyone drove out for the baptism, we decided to have the girls birthday parties too. Lindsay got baptized early so we had a brunch. The girls requested a donut cake and a cereal bar. It was yummy. We are so glad we are have family to celebrate fun occasions with.

Lindsay's Baptism

Lindsay was baptized and confirmed a member of The Church of Latter Day Saints by her dad. It was such a special day and every family member that lives in Az on both sides of the family came. It meant so much to her to have all her cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents there. She was so excited for this special day!

I am behind on blogging but I had to put this up so I could write this story down before I forget. Lindsay's primary teacher shared this with me at the baptism. They were having a lesson on the premortal life and how we made the choice to come to earth and receive a body and live with our families. All of a sudden Lindsay put her head in her hands and started crying. Her teachers were trying to figure out what was wrong. At the end of class, her teacher asked if she was ok, and she said that she was crying because she was so happy that she made the right choice. Seriously made me start crying at the baptism. That is just how Lindsay is. She is so sweet and sensitive and I think she really feels the spirit. She also started crying one week at testimony meeting because she said she felt the spirit and wanted to bare her testimony but she was too nervous. She is always worried about others and their feelings. I love having her sweet, loving spirit in her home. She was definitely ready to be baptized. It was such a beautiful day.

I have an 11 year old!

Where did the time go? I seriously am having a hard time with my kids getting so big! Daisy had a fun day even though I don't have that many pictures. On Saturday I took her and her friend, Brylee, to Ikea to buy her new bed we've been promising since we moved in. We also went shopping at Arizona Mills and had lunch. Those 2 giggled all day. On Tuesday Tiffany and I took Daisy and Brylee out at lunch time and went to La Placita for lunch. It was a fun girls day out. I took donuts to her class after. She also chose Barro's for dinner and requested her own salad. haha. We came home for the famous cupcake cake. Happy Birthday Daisy. She is turning into such a beautiful young women!
