haircuts and bikes

The girls both got short cuts. I think they both look so cute. They must like them to because I catch them in the bathroom checkint themselves out. Lindsay told me she looked adorable. I love the confidence a haircut can give.

Daisy decided she wanted to start riding Jeff's old bmx bike to school so she was gracious enough to let Lindsay ride her blue bike. Lindsay sure was happy too because her bike is too small and on it's last leg. They love riding their bikes to and from school. The weather is absolutely beautiful right now.

Sunday in pictures

I love being able to walk to church. The weekend weather was perfect.

We took an afternoon stroll to Bridal Veil Falls. We warned Cooper AGAIN that if you get in the water, you will get wet and cold. And AGAIN, he didn't listen. Such a boy. We had a great end to our Spring Break and are so happy Jeff got to be home with us. 6 more weeks and we get to be together again!!!!

BYU Men's Volleyball

We've been wanting to take the kids to a BYU sporting event. We found out volleyball was going on so we took the kids Saturday night. It was alot of fun, and BYU won, so that made it even better. Cooper loved Cosmo. He actually came up to Cooper and was hanging out with him for a little bit.

Hiking the Y

Daisy has a project for school and we needed pictures of things in Utah County. She was super excited to go and Jeff had never climbed it so we set out Saturday morning.Cooper and I stayed behind after 3 switchbacks and he played in the dirt. He was in heaven and I was fine to sit and enjoy the weather. They all made it up and back and were still happy.

Miniature Golfing

We picked Jeff up from the airport Friday morning. We were so excited he was home for the weekend. We had a fun filled weekend planned. We took the kids golfing. We went a year ago and they talked about going since.
Cooper was mad because he didn't know how to use the club and threw a tantrum. Luckily we were the only ones there so I didn't care.
I asked Daisy to take a picture of me for proof I was there. Nice shot. Maybe next time I should remind her to get my whole head in.
Jeff got the only hole in one. I totally would have, but Cooper was throwing off my game with his tantrum. Seriously. I've got some mad miniature golfing skills.

Warm weather-finally

The first three days of Spring Break were spent inside because of cold, rainy, snowy weather. But we woke up today with beautiful weather. Cooper woke up not feeling well. He spent most of the day on the couch, but he even perked up and came out for a little bit.
The girls asked if they could get their swimsuits on and play in the sprinklers. I told them it was too cold for water, so they improvised and got the water bottle out. Silly girls.

Storytime & McDonalds

Cooper goes to storytime at the library every Tuesday morning. We go with our friends, and since it was Spring Break, all the kids got to come. We made a stop after to let the kids play at McDonalds. It was rainy and cold so we had to find things to do inside.

Easter

This is what we woke up to Easter morning. I was not impressed. I have loved winter and the snow, but April 4th? Not right. And I didn't take any pictures of my kids in their Easter outfits because it was conference so we were in our PJ's all day. I loved having conference on Easter. It was a peaceful day. Jillyn & Brandon invited us to go to Santequin to Brandon's family Easter dinner. It was a nice end to our Easter. And I loved that I didn't have to do any Easter bunny stuff on Sunday.

Easter Saturday

Provo had their annual Easter egg hunt this morning at Pioneer Park. It was fun, but freezing cold so we didn't stay for the activities. We came home and had our own egg hunt then watched the afternoon session of conference. This is a great weekend.

April Fool's

Unfortunately this was not a joke. We woke up to this today. I was not amused. I loved the snow all winter, but it is spring. Snow should not be on the ground. I hope it warms up for Spring Break next week.In other news, Lindsay is just plain cute.
Randy came up for conference and he spent all day Thursday & Friday with us. I enjoyed having someone watch Arrested Development with. And Cooper loved having someone to play in the backyard with.

And Randy has a cd out, which is amazing. I think it rubbed off and inspired my kids, because Daisy has had her guitar out. And Cooper enjoyed it too. He put on a show for us one night.
