The PiEr

We always take a walk down to the pier. You can see it from the beach house, but every year I remember it's further away as we start walking. Cooper did really good though. They collected cool shells and rocks along the way. On the pier, we watch people fish and watch the surfers down below. If Jeff was here, the girls can talk him into buying a milkshake at Ruby's at the end of the pier.

The BeAch

The kids loved the beach! We would go out after breakfast and play until lunch. We would eat lunch out on the grass, reapply our sunscreen and go back down for another 3 hours! They dug for sand crabs (gross), built forts, holes, etc for hours, tubing, boogie boarding, and exploring. I sat there on a chair and enjoyed the sand between my toes and soaked up the sun. I loved watching my kids play and have fun with their cousins. The best vacation ever. Well it would have been better is Jeff was there, but he was so nice to let us go without him while he stayed home and worked in the horrible heat.

This is Cooper and Avery. They are birthday twins. She was born on Cooper's first birthday. They got along good and had fun being goofy together!

LegOLaNd

The people that stayed in the beach house below us had 2 day legoland passes and only used one day. Nobody was going to use them, so I took the girls and Cooper stayed home with the cousins. The girls had lots of fun. We were there for the afternoon and did all we needed to do and left happy. We didn't do the splash park though. But the girls liked the new aquarium.

When we got home from Legoland Cooper told me it was his birthday. They had planned a party for him. He was loving all the attention! He's been waiting for his birthday for a long time. So now he gets to celebrate another one on his real birthday!
