Halloween/more parties

Daisy and Lindsay got invited to their friends from school/ward party. This was the crowd at the party. They had so much fun playing games with all their friends. Lindsay decided to be a cowgirl so she didn't have to spray her hair black again. She forgot how yucky that was to wash out.
We played outside for a little bit. The weather turned out to be beautiful! It was sunny and warm during the day.
We went to University mall and ate dinner and the stores had trick or treating. We did that for a few stores, but it got so crowded so we left.

We came home right as it was getting dark so we decided to go around our neighborhood/ward since it is all within walking distance.

We had a fun Halloween in Utah. It was pretty relaxing for the most part and it was fun to just be able to hang out with our kids.
Happy Halloween!

Halloween Parties

We got to go to the school this morning for a Halloween parade. The girls got to wear their costumes and walk through the cafeteria and show all the parents. Cooper dressed up too and he thought it was great to see his sisters and some of the kids from the neighborhood he knows.
Lindsay was Mulan. (she was also Mulan last year, but she wanted to wear it again. Cooper also rewore his costume. He's even more obsessed with trains this year, if that's possible.)

Daisy was a cute pirate girl.

Then tonight we had our ward Trunk or Treat. I was a little worried it would be raining or snowing cause we had snow earlier in the week and the forecast was predicting rain. It did rain while we were inside eating, but it had stopped for us to trunk or treat. We wore coats and gloves and stayed plenty warm. It wasn't too bad.

Cooper won the cutest costume for ages 5 and under. They picked 4. I must admit, I wasn't surprised he won, he was dang cute. And he loved showing his nursery teachers his costume because they know how much he loves trains. He won this pumpkin eraser and was so happy!
Jeff took Cooper to like 5 cars and he was done. He was so happy with the candy he had. So he spent the rest of the night in the van with me. We had a fun night!

Goodbye My Love!

Jamee decided to go back to AZ. We were super sad when she told us, but we enjoyed her time with us. I hope she did too.

She spent the night at Jillyn's so she could take her to the airport. My kids seriously wouldn't let go of her. They love Aunt Mimi.

So we said our goodbyes and when they left, I walked back in the house and saw Lindsay on the couch just fighting back the tears. As soon as she saw me she just started bawling. It broke my heart. She truly loved having Jamee here. When she got home from school she would get her books she needed to read and go find Jamee to read them too. It was so nice to have her around. She helped me out a ton and I am going through Jamee withdrawls! We love you Mimi!

First Snow

I can officially say today was our first snow. It was hardly any and of course didn't stick, but I had to bundle Cooper up to go out in it. It definitely felt like winter. The girls came home from school and told me how cool it was when they were at recess and it started to snow alot! (they have no idea what's in store.) So I am happy to report we didn't have to use our snow shovel! And I didn't have to drive in it.

Last Day

Jeff came home today and told the girls that today was the last day to wear shorts cause it was snowing tonight and tomorrow. They informed him that they had already put shorts away and had been wearing pants for awhile. So he went and changed into shorts and a tshirt and went and bought a snow shovel! As you can see it got chilly so he put on his hunting coat. What a nerd!
Cooper and Chalupa enjoyed the last of the fall weather by playing in the leaves. The weather was beautiful. If fall is over, I did enjoy it.

Just Because

Cooper is starting with the whole gun and sword thing. I thought maybe he wouldn't get into it since we don't have any of those around. Well we bought Daisy a sword because she is going to be a pirate. It's his new favorite toy. I finally hid it after he almost broke everything in the house.

Lindsay enjoyed crazy hair day at school.
Daisy didn't. (She has refused to let me do her hair on crazy hair day since Kindergarten.)

Provo Temple

I live 1.1 miles from the temple! I have never lived that close to one before. When we walk to school, you can see Angel Moroni through the trees. I love it. I try to go as often as I can and we try to take the kids whenever we can so they can understand how important they are in our lives. The flowers were all pulled out from summer, but the leaves sure were pretty.

RoCk CaNyOn PaRk!

We love this park. It's actually pretty close to our house but all up hill so we just drive to it. We had a picnic one afternoon and brought everyone along for a fun afternoon.
Daisy and Lindsay with their great grandparents.

The whole gang.

This park has some seriously big hills. We can't wait until we can come sledding. Cooper loves to throw his truck down the hill and then chase after it. Except the hill is so steep he usually just tumbles down.

We had so much fun with my mom and sisters visiting. I didn't take nearly as many pics as I should have but we had lots of fun.

The Apple Tree

My grandpa and grandma have a huge apple tree in their backyard. It has yummy apples that we love to eat. Everytime we go over there, Grandpa gets his apple picker he made and starts throwing them to the ground. The kids love to gather them up and bring them home. Cooper was collecting the apples in his dump truck.

Sunday dinner

I miss Sunday dinners at my mom's. It was fun to have everyone go to church with us then come home for dinner and games. The girls are playing sardines. Daisy is hiding.
Cooper having a pre dinner snack, waffles. Yum.

LAGOON!

Every summer growing up, we would all go to Lagoon with our cousins. It was so much fun. Now my kids love going too. I've never been during fall. It was fun because they decorate it for fall and Halloween. At night some "scary" people come out. It's alot of fun to watch. Toree got chased down by a guy with a chainsaw!
It was a cold day. I had a fleece lined hoodie and coat and gloves on all day. But I stayed warm and we stayed all day until they kicked us out at closing. It was just a girls day. I must admit it was nice not having to chase Cooper around all day.
