Spring Break

I was really bad at taking pictures this week. I forgot my camera half the time.
Monday: We got to watch our cute nephew Avery for the day. We hung out at my mom's and went to her park. That night I took the girls to dinner and then we went to Old Navy for flip flops. Daisy's feet finally grew!
Tuesday: We went to Freestone Park with my mom, Corri, & Avery. The kids all had fun. By 11:30 though it was super hot so we had to leave. We went and cooled off with lunch and an ice cream cone.

Daisy and Lindsay took their bikes to the park. They would take their bikes to the top of the hill and ride down them! If you know my girls you know they don't like anything fast. I was shocked that they enjoyed going down the hills. Freestone has some big hills. I can't believe how much fun they had.

Wednesday: My kids were "bored" So we went to downtown Mesa and went to the Youth Museum. We spent 2 hours there and they all had fun. Even Cooper was nice.
Thursday: We headed up to Payson so we could be with Jeff. He's been working M-Th up there. He stays in my brothers house that they are trying to sell. So it was camping on the floor in a really nice house. Thanks Devin & Kristin! You guys are the best! We hung out in Payson until Friday afternoon. We went to the park, lake, went on bike rides and just hung out in the back yard on the beautiful patio.
When we went to the lake, Lindsay was running and fell and scraped her knees. Well she kept crying and dragging it out to where it was so fake. So I was trying to get her to laugh and she was trying to hide it.
Nice face Cooper. I do have to say this kid has been so nice lately! Maybe the terrible two's are coming to an end. He was happy and easy going and he even ate a ton!!!!! That itself was the best thing.

So we got to Payson Thursday around noon and I realized Cooper had no shoes. I left them on the bench in my entry way. So we headed to Walmart. They were just getting out their spring shoes so the boy dept. was empty. The only shoes I could find were these flipflops that were 2 sizes too big and no backs on them. He had the hardest time walking in them. He would just shuffle his feet along. It was so funny.

Daisy's Book Reports

Daisy has done 3 book reports this year. I didn't get a picture of the last one she did. It was on Betsy Ross and she cut out stars for the poster board. The picture below is her book report she did on dogs. She got 100%. She also had to do a written report along with it.Her first one of the year was Junie B. Jones. She had to write and illustrate scenes from the book. She has a plan and I just help her make it look presentable. She does a good job on them and we are very proud of her.

This Boy=Lots of Laughs

Cooper is finally singing his nursery songs for us. So funny and oh so nerdy. We sure get lots of

laughs from this kid! Enjoy!

Funny story: We were taking the girls to school one morning and Cooper kept saying Pants fall down. But he was wearing his feet jammies so I was telling him he was ok. So I go to pick him up and he has this big bulge around his ankle. I thought he maybe shoved a shirt or something down there. So I unzip his jammies and oh no it wasn't a shirt. He had no diaper on! It had fallen all the way down one leg and was around his ankle. We all had a good laugh. He was telling me Diaper fall down the whole time. He's no dumby. Too bad his mom doesn't know what he is saying half the time.

Saturday Fun

Last Saturday we started the day off with a parade in good ol Apache Junction. It was for Lost Dutchman Days. Seriously this was the longest parade in history. We actually left early and I heard it was almost 3 hours! We had fun though. We sat with our friends, the Hymans. Our girls had alot of fun and kept each other entertained. Cooper loves to just sit and wave to everyone. It is so funny.
We have been waiting a couple of weeks for this next part. Jonas Brothers 3D! Oh it was so fun, I'm not gonna lie. My sisters came and wore their Jo Bros shirts they made awhile ago when they went to their concert.
Daisy invited her friend Hannah to come too. They hung out the night before and at the parade and couldn't get enough of each other. They were so fun to watch. I kept looking over to watch Daisy and my sisters sing the songs. It was very entertaining! It was also very loud! A packed theater of screaming girls is alot to handle. I had to take an Advil when I got home but it was fun and I am glad I was able to take these cute girls!

FHE?

So does this happen to you? I plan a lesson for FHE. A very short, sweet, to the point lesson. But for some reason it always ends up like this. Kids loud and obnoxious, jumping on and off the couches. Oh boy. Lindsay was in rare form this night. She pulled her pants up and was pretending to be a nerd. Love the back shot.
Of course it wouldn't be a typical FHE if it didn't end in crying. My husband (who is usually in charge of making the crying happen) decided it would be funny if he depants (sp?) her. So that was the end of our FHE. I love putting crying kids to bed:)

Valentine's Day

My valentine had to work today but we still had some fun. Randy came over and they drew with sidewalk chalk on our driveway and Daisy drew all the way up to our door. Lovely. We had pizza and decorated sugar cookies. We had tons of fun!

Cooper showing us his pirate shirt. His eyes are shut because he's saying "Arrrrrr."

Me and my 3.

We had fun decorating cookies. This is Randy's. Looks just like him.
These are Daisy's people.
Lindsay made a whole family. They are so proud of them that I don't know if they'll eat them.

HaPpY VaLenTiNeS DaY!

The girls looked cute in their valentine shirts on Friday for school. They came home on a sugar high from all their parties. Cooper and I didn't want to miss out on any fun so we had a date and went to the mall.

Dad's Big Helper

Cooper loves to be in the garage with Jeff. Yesterday Jeff was putting the engine in his VW Squareback and Cooper just had to help. Jeff was so nice to let Cooper sit there and think he was a big help. Coop had a big smile on his face the whole time he kept telling me "help dad."

Jeff got the engine in all by himself yesterday and took Coop for a spin.

Daisy's Parties

I am so partied out over here. Good thing no one has a birthday until June! We had some of my family over on Sunday the 1st for Daisy's birthday dinner and cake and ice cream.Toree being a goof.
My dad is helping Daisy blow out here candles. His birthday is the 4th so he wanted in on the action too. I love Daisy's face. I don't think she thought that was funny.
Daisy taking a self portrait. There were like 3 others. Funny girl.

Daisy in her classroom. I took her Steve's Krazy Sub for lunch and Ding Dongs to share with her class.

Friday night she got to invite 2 friends to dinner and a movie. Daisy, Lexi, and Halle posing for the camera. They were so funny to listen to in the car. They were so hyper and excited.

We went to Somburro's for dinner and then we saw Hotel For Dogs after. They each had their stuffed animal dog and took it in the movies with them. They loved the movie even though Daisy cried alot. Halle said she cried a little and Lexi was like Why did you cry? They were so fun to hang out with. I am glad that Daisy has such good friends. She has known these 2 girls since she was 4 1/2. Thanks girls!

So Daisy milked this birthday all she could. Her parties seemed to last all week. I hope she enjoyed it cause it's a long year until her next birthday!

We'Re HaViNg A PaRtY!!!!!!!!

We're having a party today. And no it is not a Superbowl party. No today we are celebrating Daisy's birthday. 9 years ago today this girl was born at 10am. She weighed 6 lbs and 14 oz. and was the cutest thing ever. Becoming a mom for the first time was the greatest thing in the world. She was such a happy baby, a good eater, and the best sleeper. She made becoming parents super easy for us. We love you Daisy girl!!!!She was so excited to get an Ipod shuffle! Lime green- her favorite color right now.
Cooper was so into her opening presents. It was fun to watch him.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAISY GIRL! WE LOVE YOU! HAVE A GREAT DAY TODAY!

A boy's best friend

So I'm kind of embarrassed that I'm putting this picture up. But Yes, my back door is really this dirty. The reason I took this picture though is because Cooper and Chalupa love to go in the backyard together. Cooper goes on the side of our house where it's still dirt and digs all day long. Chalupa sits next to him and digs too. I was cleaning the kitchen one morning and I heard a knock at my door and this is what I saw. They were done playing and wanted to come in. So cute.
