moving day

We stopped by to say good bye to Grandpa Hansen. These pictures crack me up. Cooper wouldn't look at the camera so my mom said "Look at that fly up there" and so the next picture is Cooper and grandpas looking for the fly!!! I love my grandpa. He is such a great guy! Lindsay was with Jeff and grandpa Hall in the moving truck. We met up with them in Beaver and Daisy went with them and stayed the rest of the way. We didn't see them until we got to our new place. We went through Vegas and they couldn't take the moving truck over the dam so they had to go through Needles. So it took them a little longer. We pulled in at 1am or so. I can't remember. We ended up going to bed at 3am. (everyone) and got up at 7am for people to come help us move in. We had Devin, Trever, Randy and my dad come. And Jeff's boss/friend Todd and his son Brennan came too. We're glad we had lots of help.

I had the best visiting teacher in Provo. She brought bags by for the kids for the trip. Lindsay got these fake fingernails that you could decorate. Cooper thought they were pretty cool!

friends and goodbyes

We made some really good friends. The DeWitt's were for sure Cooper's favorite, and mine too! Our 6 kids all got along really well and we had lots of fun times with them. They came over to say goodbye and brought presents for the kids.
Daisy with her 2 bff's, Kylie and Grace. Grace was in our ward and these 3 girls had so much fun together.

This is Lindsay's bff, Paige. She is Kylie's sister and each of them were in my girls classes at school. It worked out perfectly for all 4 of them to get together and play. I got to be really good friends with their mom too. It's always hard to leave when you have made such good friends.

Last day of school

My girls had a ton of fun stuff the last week of school. Unfortunately I was so busy packing and cleaning I didn't get to go and get pictures. Lindsay had a read a thon and got to wear her pj's to school.
Lindsay had 2 teachers this year. They team taught. They were both excellent teachers and Lindsay loved both of them. Seriously the nicest ever!

And Daisy totally lucked out with her teacher too. Mr. Bellak was absolutely awesome. Daisy thought he was the best ever! And he loved Daisy. He would always tell me how happy she was and always smiling. He said she reminded him of Jennifer Aniston because of her bubbly personality. haha.

Day out with Thomas!

We told Cooper when he was potty trained he could got ride the train. He is 100% pee pee trained so we rewarded him for it. Thomas happened to be in Heber the weekend we were moving so I booked tickets for the 2 of us. We had so much packing to do. Jeff and his dad stayed and packed the Uhaul and my mom, grandpa Hansen, Cooper and I drove to the Heber Valley Railroad.
Getting his Thomas tattoo.

Checking out the gift shop.

Looking at the other trains waiting for our turn to ride Thomas.

He was so excited to get on the train. He picked which car we were going to sit in.

Baby Dumbo got to come with us. Cooper sat him in between us so he could see.

Cooper had his train whistle along with every other kid. It was kind of loud on the train.

It was so much fun. Cooper was in heaven and I am glad we got a chance to go.

Salt Lake

We got to go pick up Jeff and my mom from the airport to help with the big move. I decided to take the kids to Temple Square one last time before we left. I have absolutely crazy kids so taking pictures is a nightmare. And to get a good one with all 3 of them is impossible, as you will see.

Yes that's Cooper in the background trying to climb in to see the duck.
Ok so this is a good one. Too bad we're so far away you can't tell.

Airplane?

This is where it gets good. Cooper is into playing 'Statue'. We'll be walking along and he will yell Statue and strike a pose. I don't know where he learned it but it is pretty dang funny. Too bad the only way to convince him to get in this picture was to play Statue. So of course the girls had to join in.

We were walking back to the car and Daisy couldn't resist. They have these orange flags around BYU and Daisy always said she would wave them really high so everyone could see. She finally had her chance. There were no cars so she put on a good show for us. I seriously was on the ground laughing. These kids can sure keep me entertained!

This is what we woke up to...

Are you kidding me? I drove the kids to school and then had to run to the grocery store. The snow got worse and worse. If the trees weren't green you would have sworn it was Christmas. I was sliding all over the road. I can't believe it's May 24th!

My grandpa's house in Orem.

Cooper thinks its great!

Sunday

We had a break through! Cooper hasn't been sleeping in his bed or had a nap for like a month. It was getting to him and me. Well on Saturday we went to Target and bought Thomas the Tank sheets. He loved them! He even took a 3.5 hour nap that afternoon! And he slept in his bed last night too! So I just had to document this happy face!!!!
We went to Jillyn & Brandon's to celebrate Brandon's birthday. We went to the park in their neighborhood and as soon as we got there it started to rain so we had to bring it back to their house. We had a yummy BBQ and hung out for a little bit.
