Father's Day

We enjoyed a nice walk down by the Boise River after dinner on Sunday. When we got home from church, our apartment was 62 degrees because we opened the windows before we left. We all bundled up for our walk and of course it started raining. The sprinklers were on so I didn't really care if they got wet cause they already were.

We could have done this all day. The kids loved it.

I love this picture! Daddy and his cute kiddos. We sure love this guy.

UTAH

This was the whole reason for the trip, to get this cute little guy. Oh how we missed our puppy. He was in AZ and my sisters friend was driving to St. George so she was kind enough to take him there and my sister drove down from Orem to get him. All for a puppy! But it was a good excuse to go see family. We had a fun filled few days and realized the trip isn't that bad. We will definitely do it again soon!

UTAH

The parade goes down Center St. and my granparents are on Center St. so it was nice to just sit on their driveway. The night ended with fireworks that we got to enjoy in their backyard. Perfect view.

My grandpa with some of his great grandkids!

UTAH

We kept telling Cooper, don't go too far or you will fall and the water is freezing!Did he listen?
Nope. Here he is crying cause he is cold!

I love going up to Bridal Veil Falls. We went with Jillyn & Brandon and had some fun while it was sunny. Kind of. It actually did rain on us but it was still fun.

UTAH

Orem was having their Summerfest and a carnival was going on across the street from my grandparents so of course we had to go check it out.

Cooper rode the train 3 times and had the hugest smile on his face when it started and as soon as it stopped he started crying! So funny.

UTAH

Enjoying my grandparents beautiful backyard when it was sunny. Pictures compiments of Daisy.

Swimming at my cousins house. We would swim in between the rainstorms. Good thing it was heated. And good thing JaNae was there!!!!!!!!!!!:)

little fishies

My kids are loving the pool. We go everyday, well except this past week. It has been to cold and rainy to swim. Crazy to think, I know. But they love it and the water is cold but they don't care. They are little fishies and I am so glad we have a place to hang out. There is never anyone there either.Cooper uses his noodle and floaties and goes around the whole pool by himself.
Such goofs. Funny thing is they are actually being serious.

Cooper taking a break from swimming to have a snack.
I saved the best for last. How can you not just laugh your head off when you see this picture! Are we swimming or flying a plane? I seriously just look at this picture just to get a good laugh.

Family Fun

We rode our bikes over to the park and had alot of fun. I think these photos totally show everyones personalities. Cooper didn't want to go down cause he was scared so I threw him down and Jeff took his picture. His face is priceless. I love it! Kind of scared, kind of ticked off.
Lindsay is just happy go lucky and always has a smile or a goofy face.

Daisy always has to act like she's having a bad time. Look how she is trying to not smile.

We're just the 2 goofy parents that still like to have fun.

My Birthday Wish...

was to have a nice picture of me and my kids, all smiles and looking at the camera.

Maybe next year.

The Zoo

I am so not a fan of the zoo, but Thursdays are 1/2 price and it only coast 8.75 for all 4 of us to get in so that is really why we went today. But it was fun and Cooper had never been to a zoo so I knew he would enjoy it. This is the prairie dog exhibit. They had these tunnels you could go in and pop up and actually be in the exhibit. You can't see but my kids are in the first one you can see.

Cooper is into what is real and what is fake. He sat on this and told me it was fake. When we looked at the giraffes, they were just standing there and he told me they were fake. I said no they are real. So funny.

Cute giraffe slide. We had a fun day at the zoo.

To our AZ friends & family,

We will really try to miss you today.
It's just really hard when it is rainy, chilly, and in the 60's.
We are loving this weather. All our windows are open and we have the back door open and Cooper and I are playing trains out on the patio.

We really do miss you though.

Eagle Island State Park

We crossed off another item on our long list of things to do while we are here. We drove to Eagle, Id and went to the "beach". The kids were so excited. Daisy asked if there were any waves. Uh, not that kind of a beach Daisy. We took a picnic and had some fun. Could these 2 be any more obnoxious? I ask them to smile and this is what they both did. Like father, like daughter. Nerds.
They had a water slide. We were trying to convince Daisy to go down and she wasn't sure and Lindsay is like I'll go. She was barely tall enough but we paid for the tickets and off she went. Daisy then decided she wanted to go too. They each got ten slides and that was for sure the highlight of their day.

Why can't people just stay by each other and look at the camera for like 5 seconds for a picture?Cooper kept running off so I had to take a seperate picture of him.

We had lots of fun! I can't wait for our fun adventures next weekend.

New Sunday Tradition

It seemed like we were always at my parents or Jeff's for Sunday dinner. Now that we are here all alone I decided we need to make Sunday's special for our family. After dinner was over and I cleaned it all up I was tired. I layed on the couch and kind of jokingly told Jeff that our new tradition should be that he makes dessert. He said ok and got right up and got a brownie mix out. Cooper wanted to help too. I don't care if we have brownies every Sunday. As long as I don't have to make it or clean it up.

Park

We found the coolest park. It has a splash pad, climbing rocks for the kids, baseball fields, tennis courts, horseshoes, a huge playground, and a gorgeous green field to run around in. We are definitely spending our summer hear. We weren't planning on getting wet but when we left our kids were drenched from head to toe. Cooper's diaper almost exploded. The splash pad looks like a pirate ship and alot of the playground has these towers you can climb and look out.
I almost peed my pants when I saw my girls swinging in these swings!

They have a whole bunch of different pipes that you can hit and it makes cool music. The girls were in heaven. Cooper will love it too, he just never made it past the water. He thought it was the coolest thing that he was in his clothes and we weren't getting mad at him for splashing in the water.

The Big Move

I just flew back from Idaho yesterday. Jeff started school yesterday and is enjoying it this far.
So here's our adventure in a nutshell:
Jeff and I drove out last Tuesday morning. We had his truck and trailer plum full of as much furniture and belongings as we could fit in there. We looked like the Beverly Hillbillies. But I must say that Jeff and his dad packed it perfectly. We made it safe and sound to Orem, Ut and got to spend Wednesday & Thursday visiting cousins, my sister & grandparents.
Friday we headed to our new home in Boise. We had an apartment lined up but when we got there, we decided it was not a place we could live with our 3 kids. Can you say GHETTO? Seriously. It was bad. I wanted to cry. But then a miracle happened. We said a prayer and decided to just drive to Meridian (where his school is.) and just try to find a place. We had tried to find an apartment in Meridian to begin with but didn't have such luck. Long story short, we found one and I feel so blessed! We actually tried to get an apartment there already but they didn't have any available at the time. It is perfect. It's a 3 bedroom, 2 bath. A big pool and playground right behind our unit. We were able to get approved and got the keys within 2 hours. The only bad thing is it is on the 3rd floor. That's gonna get old real fast. We found out what ward we were in and Jeff called our new bishop to ask if he could help find a couple of guys to help move us in. We were thinking Saturday because it was like 6:30 on Friday night. Well the bishop called us back and within about 15 minutes we had 6 guys! They moved us all in in about 40 minutes! It was awesome! We got all unpacked on Saturday and got our groceries. We went to our new ward on Sunday and felt so welcome and even got brownies from a family that night! I flew out Monday morning. The girls are finishing up school and then we will head out on May 18th. My mom is driving up with me. We are excited for this adventure ahead. It's a little scary, but we are ready for it.
