Grandma's funeral

Grandmas funeral was perfect. We wanted to keep it short and sweet. My grandpa said he would stand up and walk out if it was longer than an hour. haha. He's still got his charm. Love it. It was exactly an hour long and was beautiful. The grandkids and great grandkids sang, my cousin Julie gave her life sketch and my uncle Steve gave the talk. All in all it was a great day. After the luncheon we went to Uncle Kenns and hung out and then we went to grandpas for more visiting.

Somehow Jeff ended up with all the kids at his table. But that's ok, he had fun with them and said they were at the fun table.
Daisy thinks she is too big for the fun table. haha!
I have the best cousins. It was so fun to see them and be together. We are missing a few here. There are 23 grandkids and 35 great grandkids so far. Lots of fun.

This is my grandpa Hansen and his sister, Geri.
Can we get a normal family picture? Of course not.
My Grandpa, Aunt Geri, Uncle Art, Aunt Ramona
Some of the great grandkids having fun.
Some of the cousins went out to lunch after the luncheon. haha. Sometimes funeral potatoes just don't cut it. Pizzeria 712. Yum Yum. Thanks for the laughs. It was so fun to visit. I am so lucky that I have so many cousins close to me in age. Love you guys!

love the photo with Jeff at the kids table. After all the kids claimed that table, lindsay got up to get her food and some old guy sat down in her seat and I thought Lily was going to have a fit luckily we convinced him the kids table probably wasn't the best choice & Lindsay got her seat back & lily was able to breath again.
So funny!

Sorry to hear about your grandma. I think it is hard to loose a grandparent even if they are old. Funerals are fun though. It seems like they are the only way to bring everyone together.
