Happy Fourth!

We started our morning off right! We had a ward breakfast that morning in the Jones's backyard. It was fabulous! We had made to order omelets, pancakes, eggs, sausage, and watermelon. Seriously so good! The kids had a ton of fun playing in the backyard with their friends.
This is Lindsay's friend, Sevia. Lindsay loves to go to her house. They have a fun backyard.

Cooper had fun finding their two dogs that were running around the backyard.

My two cuties!
We had a fun relaxing day. We went swimming, had lunch and then all 5 of us had a nap before we went to the fireworks. And we even got a BBQ the night before so it was a fabulous weekend!

Daisy and Megan

Before we moved here, I prayed for my girls to have good friends in our new ward. It seemed like it took a couple of weeks but my girls have met some great kids! This is Daisy's new friend Megan. They are the same age and the best part is we can see Megans house from our balcony so they can walk back and forth to play. They get along great and it has made Daisy so happy to be here. They even have a daughter just a little younger than Lindsay and those two have also had so much fun playing together.

Hanging out at the fireworks.

Fireworks

We went to Ann Morrison park and watched the fireworks with our new friends from our ward, the Moores, and the Shepherds. It was a fun and relaxing night. We got there about 6:30 and ate our picnic we brought. The kids had fun running around and playing with their new friends. The Boise River was right there too so the kids had fun sticking their feet in the freezing river. Because of daylight savings, the fireworks didn't start until 10:20 but everyone was nice and stayed awake.

Dear Cooper,

Oh how I wish you would just get potty trained! You drive me crazy sometimes. We bought you a little potty (because you are scared of the big potty) and you actually sat on it today. Next time, you might even let me take your diaper off.
I still love you though Mr. Coopster! But just go in the potty ok?
Love, Mommy
So Cooper did sit on the potty one day while he watched TV. And he was naked so he could go in the potty. He sat on it for an hour straight. But then of course he got off to play and peed on the carpet. Lovely. I so don't want to do this.

Father's Day

We enjoyed a nice walk down by the Boise River after dinner on Sunday. When we got home from church, our apartment was 62 degrees because we opened the windows before we left. We all bundled up for our walk and of course it started raining. The sprinklers were on so I didn't really care if they got wet cause they already were.

We could have done this all day. The kids loved it.

I love this picture! Daddy and his cute kiddos. We sure love this guy.

UTAH

This was the whole reason for the trip, to get this cute little guy. Oh how we missed our puppy. He was in AZ and my sisters friend was driving to St. George so she was kind enough to take him there and my sister drove down from Orem to get him. All for a puppy! But it was a good excuse to go see family. We had a fun filled few days and realized the trip isn't that bad. We will definitely do it again soon!

UTAH

The parade goes down Center St. and my granparents are on Center St. so it was nice to just sit on their driveway. The night ended with fireworks that we got to enjoy in their backyard. Perfect view.

My grandpa with some of his great grandkids!

UTAH

We kept telling Cooper, don't go too far or you will fall and the water is freezing!Did he listen?
Nope. Here he is crying cause he is cold!

I love going up to Bridal Veil Falls. We went with Jillyn & Brandon and had some fun while it was sunny. Kind of. It actually did rain on us but it was still fun.

UTAH

Orem was having their Summerfest and a carnival was going on across the street from my grandparents so of course we had to go check it out.

Cooper rode the train 3 times and had the hugest smile on his face when it started and as soon as it stopped he started crying! So funny.

UTAH

Enjoying my grandparents beautiful backyard when it was sunny. Pictures compiments of Daisy.

Swimming at my cousins house. We would swim in between the rainstorms. Good thing it was heated. And good thing JaNae was there!!!!!!!!!!!:)

little fishies

My kids are loving the pool. We go everyday, well except this past week. It has been to cold and rainy to swim. Crazy to think, I know. But they love it and the water is cold but they don't care. They are little fishies and I am so glad we have a place to hang out. There is never anyone there either.Cooper uses his noodle and floaties and goes around the whole pool by himself.
Such goofs. Funny thing is they are actually being serious.

Cooper taking a break from swimming to have a snack.
I saved the best for last. How can you not just laugh your head off when you see this picture! Are we swimming or flying a plane? I seriously just look at this picture just to get a good laugh.

We LoVe tHe rAiN!

Family Fun

We rode our bikes over to the park and had alot of fun. I think these photos totally show everyones personalities. Cooper didn't want to go down cause he was scared so I threw him down and Jeff took his picture. His face is priceless. I love it! Kind of scared, kind of ticked off.
Lindsay is just happy go lucky and always has a smile or a goofy face.

Daisy always has to act like she's having a bad time. Look how she is trying to not smile.

We're just the 2 goofy parents that still like to have fun.

My Birthday Wish...

was to have a nice picture of me and my kids, all smiles and looking at the camera.

Maybe next year.

The Zoo

I am so not a fan of the zoo, but Thursdays are 1/2 price and it only coast 8.75 for all 4 of us to get in so that is really why we went today. But it was fun and Cooper had never been to a zoo so I knew he would enjoy it. This is the prairie dog exhibit. They had these tunnels you could go in and pop up and actually be in the exhibit. You can't see but my kids are in the first one you can see.

Cooper is into what is real and what is fake. He sat on this and told me it was fake. When we looked at the giraffes, they were just standing there and he told me they were fake. I said no they are real. So funny.

Cute giraffe slide. We had a fun day at the zoo.

To our AZ friends & family,

We will really try to miss you today.
It's just really hard when it is rainy, chilly, and in the 60's.
We are loving this weather. All our windows are open and we have the back door open and Cooper and I are playing trains out on the patio.

We really do miss you though.
