The fort

I love to see Coopers face when he asks if his sisters will play with him. It makes his day. Lindsay and Cooper came down to tell me I had to see their fort they made. They were so proud. I walked in and saw this. haha. They told me to get it. Except there was no room. They had the light off and were using Cooper's flashlight and they had all their stuffed animals under there with them.
I love when my kids play nice.

Funny story

I talked to my mom this morning and she was laughing and told me I needed to document it so we could have a good laugh later. And I have no pictures of this story, luckily.
I've been talking to Cooper and telling him how he can't keep pooping in his underwear or pullups and he needed to go in the potty. Well I could smell something but I would check his underwear and he was fine. Then I walked into the bathroom and there on the floor was his business! I about died. I tried to hold in my laughter as I went and asked him the story. I asked him if he pooped and he said yes. I asked him to show me where and he took me into the bathroom and showed me. I asked him if he thought that is where he should poop and he said no. So I told him to go get some toilet paper so he could clean it up. By this time Daisy was in there too and he went over to the roll and pulled off a quarter of a square. Daisy started laughing so hard. It made me get the giggles and he was looking at us like why are you laughing at me? So I had to show him we needed a little more toilet paper! Oh I love this boy! He is a riot. He knew he shouldn't poop in his underwear so he went in there and did his thing and put his undies back on and went about his day!

Flashback Friday

My 3 cute kiddos! This picture makes me happy! This was the morning I had Cooper and the girls got to come see him for the first time. They were so excited to see their baby brother. I thought my girls were so big when he was born, but they look so little. Where does the time go? It seems like yesterday. I totally remember this day. This picture really makes me baby hungry! Funny story: The girls were staying with my mom. That night when they went home, my mom had put the girls to bed and was in the family room and saw some scissors on the floor. When she picked them up she noticed hair next to them, but kind of shoved under the chair. At first she thought one of my girls cut barbie hair. (They were playing barbies before bed) On closer examination, she realized it was human hair. So she went back in to the room and checked out their hair. Sure enough, Lindsay had cut her left side almost to her ear! Haha! So she had a cute short bob for a few months. I actually loved that hair cut on her. It made her cheeks look chunkier than they were!

He's finally getting it!

This kid is doing awesome with the potty training. I know this is like the millionth post on it, but this is all I think about right now. He has finally stopped peeing in the tub and pees in the BIG potty! Woohoo! And for the past day he actually tells me he has to go which hasn't happened until now! He has yet to poop in the potty, but we're getting there! Our true test will be church on Sunday. No more pull ups when we go places. Only bedtime. Way to go Coop!!!!!!!!!!

Shoveling

We walk to church since it's just up the road, even when it's snowing. Lately we've had to drive because I have so much stuff for Sunbeams. Daisy saw that it had snowed again so she went out and started shoveling the driveway. I love it. She's all dressed up in her Sunday clothes, and has her snow boots on shoveling the driveway. Thanks Daisy!

We love the snow

My kids like the snow and like playing in it, but Lindsay absolutely loves the snow! The second she sees it's snowing, she gets her snow clothes on and goes outside. We got lots of snow Friday night and woke up Saturday to this. Lindsay and I went out to play. I love walking through fresh snow! This is me in the wee hours Saturday morning shoveling the drive way. I actually enjoy it.

Here's lots of pictures of our street and yard. It's so pretty outside.

Can you see this guy? He is our neighbor Keith. He snow blows everybodys driveway and sidewalk on our whole street after every storm.

BYU Bowling

We all had cabin fever so I decided to take the kids down to BYU and go bowling. We had lots of fun. I love bumper bowling. It makes the kids happier when they get to hit pins every turn, even if it's only one!

Snow

We were getting ready for bed after our movie and we saw this happening outside! Lindsay was so excited, she got her coat on and went outside to play in the snow at like 10pm! She loves the snow! And while it is in the 20's or 30's outside, this is what this kid wears all day. Some days he does let me put on a shirt and socks, but we keep the pants off for obvious reasons. We're getting there. Funny story, well kind of. Cooper will only pee in the bath tub. Gross I know. He did it once in the bath and I told him how easy it was to pee standing up so every time I have him go potty he has to jump in the tub, completely naked, and I have to turn the water on. So annoying, yet it's kind of funny. But hey it works, and some days you just gotta do what you can.

Here we go again...

This is the sight you'll see at our house as of late. I decided to try it. Again. This time he wasn't totally upset about it. He actually does like his undies. He still pees in them, but baby steps. I just have a few diapers left and I so don't want to buy anymore. So we went and bought pull ups, which he hates. Good. It's that or underwear. I don't care if it takes 5 months, we're doing it.I give him juice and let him watch a movie. He will pee in the potty. But then I put a pull up on him for a nap or bedtime, and he wakes up soaking. Or poopy. I know this is TMI but this is my journal and well this is about as exciting as it gets these days.

LiNdSaY iS sEvEn!

Lindsay is 7 today! I love going through old pictures and remembering how little and cute she was. She's still cute, she's just getting so big! Lindsay is such a joy in our lives. She always has a smile on her face and loves to giggle. She brightens up our day for sure! We love you Lindsay Lu!

The Birthday Girl!

Lindsay opened her presents up from her family this morning before school. She loved dad's present, a remote control. So did Cooper. In fact he thinks it's his. I bought Lindsay her new skirt and I made her a new hair clip. I am going to eat lunch at school with her, pass out treats in her class, have her bday party this afternoon, and go to dinner of her choice, In N Out. I've got a busy day! Happy Birthday!

Birthday Fun

Cooper and I went to Lindsay's school for lunch and a celebration. She has triplets in her class and they have the same birthday as her. There was alot of partying going on!I made her a scrapbook page of information so she could share with the class. Then they get to ask her questions about herself. It was cute to listen to her answers.

My cute toothless girl!

Birthday Party

Lindsay had 9 friends over for her party after school. We passed out movie tickets as invitations that the kids brought to get in to the party. We watched Night at the Museum 2 and I had lots of candy and popcorn. I'm sure they were all hyped up on sugar when they left, but that's the fun of it all. We played a game too and opened presents.

It sure was a loud 2 hours! But Lindsay had fun and Cooper loved all the boys there.

Birthday Dinner

Lindsay chose to go to In N Out Burger for her birthday dinner. Yum Yum. She can put down a burger like nothing. Then we came home and she blew her candles out on her cake. It was quite a fun filled day. I'm tired.

Another tooth gone!

She lost her tooth Sunday night. She informed me this morning that it has been 2 nights and the tooth fairy hasn't come yet. She shouldn't be surprised-it usually takes at least 3 days before she actually remember.Cooper loves to get in pictures and make "silly face" then ask to see it on the screen.
Lately, these 2 have become such good friends. I think it's because they found something in common, Bakugons. Cooper will say to Lindsay, "Want to play with me? 5 minutes." He was so sad when she had to go to school this morning.

CaBiN FeVeR

On Sunday we had Stake Conference and well I really didn't want to take 3 kids by myself. Cooper doesn't make it through sacrament. So by 3:30 my kids were driving me crazy so I made them put their snow clothes on and go in the backyard. It took 10 minutes to get them all dressed and I didn't think they would last that long. We haven't had snow for awhile but it was freezing! I actually had to drag Cooper in after his face was bright red. They had fun and I got my sanity back.

We haven't had fresh snow for a couple of weeks so it was kind of hard and icy so they could actually sled down our little hill. It was fun to listen to them have fun together and have a little break of the tattling and teasing.
